4worldlovers: Hershele Gallery was founded in 2015 in the city of Safed by Zvi Gleich, a designer and curator of art, who set out to create an art gallery that would speak in an unconventional language. The result is a contemporary gallery, vivid and full of life. The gallery features over 65 Israeli artists and all exhibits are produced in Israel.

Last March 2018, the gallery opened in its new and exciting location at the First Train Station compound in Jerusalem. The uniqueness of the preserved structure of the old train station, full of history and character, along side the contemporary and colorful works of art that are displayed in the gallery create an exciting space full of inspiration.

At the Hershele Gallery we aspire for excellence, uniqueness, and quality of each piece, therefore, every exhibit has been carefully curated out of a true passion for art and perfection.

Established in 1967 by the legendary mayor of Jerusalem, Teddy Kollek, the artist colony is a bridge between western and eastern Jerusalem. Teddy Kollek understood that art can and should be a ‘bridge of peace’ at the heart of this sacred city. Over the past fifty years, this collection of artist studios, workshops and Judaica filled galleries has endeared itself to tourists and natives alike.
